Terms

The short version: be kind, it's yours.

These terms are the agreement between you and Aura (operated by Arnold Daniels) when you use Aura. By creating an account you agree to them.

Last updated 13 October 2026

Who can use Aura

You need to be 18 or older and give us a real email address you control. One person, one account.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account; if you think someone else has access, change your password in Account, or reset it by email from the sign-in page.

Your content

Your username, photo, picks and listening data stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Aura for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only upload a profile photo you have the right to use, and only your own Spotify data.

Matches and share cards

A match happens only when one person sends a link and the other accepts. Share cards show both people's usernames and photos, so post them only where your match would be comfortable seeing them.

Fair use

  • Don't impersonate anyone or pick a hateful username.
  • Don't scrape Aura, overload it, or try to get into accounts that aren't yours.
  • Don't use Aura to harass anyone.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why when we can.

Music, photos and other brands

Aura isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify or any artist. Artist names and some photos are provided by Spotify; others come from Wikimedia Commons under their licences (see photo credits). All trademarks belong to their owners.

Scores are for fun

Your aura and match scores are playful readings of listening data, not facts about your personality or relationships. Aura is provided as it is; we work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time in Account. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using Aura. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions: [email protected].
